Job summary

A high-growth talent consultancy is looking for independent consultants and professional freelancers with expertise in Enterprise Architecture to join their platform in Australia. Ideal candidates will have experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture, and knowledge of Australian banking systems. This role offers flexibility with a focus on remote or onsite contracts and access to exciting projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in enterprise, solution, or technical architecture roles within banking, payments, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Australian banking systems and Open Banking (CDR).
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• > Familiarity with cards, digital payments, and loyalty ecosystems.
• > Experience with Agile delivery, SAFe, or hybrid project environments.
• > Excellent communication and stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• > Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT.

• Support prioritization and deployment of Personal Financial Management (PFM) or digital banking solutions.
• Lead technical integration across IT, Digital, InfoSec, and Data teams.
• Advise on architecture roadmaps, governance, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee testing and quality assurance to ensure business and technical requirements are met.
• Manage project documentation, milestones, and delivery timelines.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in enterprise, solution, or technical architecture roles within banking, payments, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Australian banking systems, Open Banking (CDR), and APRA compliance frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and microservices‑based architectures.
• Familiarity with cards, digital payments, and loyalty ecosystems.
• Experience with Agile delivery, Scaled Agile (SAFe), or hybrid project environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with senior technology and business leaders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
