Job summary

Affinda Group is seeking a software engineer to build AI-driven enterprise solutions. You will work with senior engineers on retrieval systems, agents, and integrations into client stacks, often onsite during discovery, and potentially embedded with the client's team through build and deployment.

You will own meaningful pieces of the build, with opportunities to explore and push the boundaries of AI as the field evolves. Early-career professionals are welcome to gain substantial client exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience building software beyond coursework, including shipped projects or internships.
• Strong Python backend experience and API design.
• Hands-on experience with large language models and AI pipelines.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled solutions in client-facing contexts.

Responsibilities

• Build features and services inside client solutions: retrieval pipelines, agents, APIs, integrations into client systems.
• Write and run evaluations: golden datasets, precision and recall, data-driven decisions.
• Use AI to build: prototypes, structured plans, code that runs and passes tests.
• Attend discovery sessions on site and ask questions to understand client operations.
• Support production deployment and hand the solution across cleanly to the client team.
• Monitor costs and security considerations in what you build.
• Ship in the client’s stack, primarily Python with React where needed.
