Job summary

SA Health seeks an Enrolled Nurse for Naracoorte Health Service to provide high-quality patient care under RN supervision. You will plan workloads, collaborate across the multidisciplinary team, and support care across acute, day surgery, and aged-care facilities.

Experience in delivering nursing care to standards and current practicing certificate with NMBA are required, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and holds or is eligible for a current practicing certificate.
• Experience within the scope of education and training, delivering nursing care to established standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Job description

The role will require excellent communication skills to share information clearly and effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.

Key responsibilities

• As an Enrolled Nurse at Naracoorte Health Service, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, professional patient care.
• You will also be involved in planning and prioritising your workload to meet defined patient care outcomes and making sound judgments to resolve issues as they arise.
• You will have the opportunity to work across various clinical areas, including our 39-bed acute care facility, day surgery, specialist consulting rooms, and Moreton Bay House, which houses both state-funded and Commonwealth-funded aged care beds.
• Assist in the provision of high-quality, person-centred nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

What you need

• Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Experience within the scope of your education and training, demonstrating competence in delivering nursing care in line with established standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
