Job summary

NurseCare Connect in Mackay, Queensland is seeking compassionate Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our premium home care team. We deliver flexible, in-home nursing across aged care and disability services, helping people live fulfilling lives at home.

Shifts may include early mornings, afternoons, evenings or overnight, with a minimum of 20 hours per week. You will follow individualized care plans, complete accurate records, perform nursing assessments, and work with a supportive team to

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration and current nursing status.
• Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Car and valid driver's license.
• NDIS Worker Screening Approval.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed.
• National Police Check (Aged Care/Vulnerable Persons Sector).
• Working With Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised.
• Deliver care following the client’s care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse).
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Conduct Nursing Assessments.

About the Role

We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client’s needs.

• Subacute and disability experience.
• Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Director of Clinical Operations.
• Ability to redirect or deescalate behaviours
• Diabetes management
• Dementia experience would be an advantage
• Leadership experience is an advantage
