Job summary

Scovier Care Pty is seeking compassionate Enrolled Nurses to join our Supported Independent Living team in NSW. You will deliver person-centred nursing care to three participants in a newly established SIL home, under the supervision of Registered Nurses.

Responsibilities include medication management, enteral feeding and wound care, along with maintaining clinical records. We offer flexible rostering, ongoing education and a supportive family-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• First Aid Certification and police check may be required.
• Experience in disability/complex care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to participants with complex health needs.
• Perform medication administration within scope of practice.
• Manage enteral feeding, catheter care and wound care.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Coordinate with Clinical Services Manager and Support Workers.

About the Role

You will provide nursing care and support to three participants with varying care needs, including complex health conditions and communication challenges.

You will work alongside a Support Worker at all times, with additional Support Workers attending during peak periods.

As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a key role in the day to day delivery of care, including:

• Medication administration and management within your scope of practice.
• Enteral feeding, catheter care and wound care.
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and care records.
• Liaising with our Clinical Services Manager (Registered Nurse).
• Providing day to day guidance and support to Support Workers.
• Supporting participants with personal care, daily routines and independence.
• Recognising and escalating changes in participants' health and wellbeing.

Experience in complex care is highly regarded; however, training and ongoing clinical support will be provided.

Our participants have a range of communication needs, including individuals who are non verbal. Patience, compassion and an understanding of individual communication styles are essential.

Available Shifts

Our roster includes:

• AM: 0800 – 1800hrs
• PM: 1800 – 2200hrs

Rosters and contracted hours will be discussed with successful applicants.

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Current First Aid Certification.
• National Police Check.
• Working With Children Check.
• Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care.
