Job summary

ForHealth Group in Caboolture is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join the Caboolture Medical Centre team. You will work with GPs and a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality nursing care and support patients throughout their healthcare journey.

The role offers varied responsibilities in a busy general practice, with a focus on preventative care, vaccination delivery and patient education.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with medication administration endorsement.
• Diploma of Nursing is required.
• Experience in general practice or primary care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care within scope of practice.
• Administer vaccinations and medications.
• Perform wound care, ECGs, spirometry and other procedures.
• Assist GPs with health assessments and chronic disease management.
• Support nurse-led clinics and preventative health initiatives.
• Educate patients on conditions, treatment plans and healthy lifestyles.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure infection control in treatment rooms.

The Role

We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse to join our Caboolture Medical Centre. Working alongside GPs and an experienced multidisciplinary team, you'll deliver high-quality clinical care while supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.

The Tasks

As an Enrolled Nurse, you'll be involved in a wide range of clinical and patient-focused activities, including:

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care within your scope of practice.
• Administer vaccinations and medications.
• Perform wound care, dressings, ECGs, spirometry and other clinical procedures.
• Assist GPs with health assessments, chronic disease management and care planning.
• Support nurse-led clinics and preventative health initiatives.
• Educate patients on their health conditions, treatment plans and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate clinical findings with the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, stocked and compliant with infection control standards.
• Support accreditation, quality improvement initiatives and workplace health and safety.

The Successful Candidate

We're looking for an Enrolled Nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

You'll Bring

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with medication administration endorsement.
• Diploma of Nursing.
• Previous experience in general practice or primary care (highly regarded).
• Experience with immunisations, wound care and chronic disease management is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accurate clinical documentation.
• A positive, team-focused attitude with a genuine passion for patient care.
