Job summary

Respect Cohuna Village is seeking a compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our aged care team on a casual basis. You will work alongside Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality, person-centered clinical care and build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

Your day will include admissions support, clinical assessments, medication administration, documentation and care planning, with a focus on safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Nursing and current AHPRA registration.
• Knowledge of aged care standards and accreditation requirements.
• Police check current or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support resident admissions and ongoing clinical assessments.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Maintain clear, accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to resident care planning, reviews and evaluations.
• Monitor resident wellbeing and escalate concerns when required.
• Collaborate with residents, families and the broader care team.

About the Role

Essential Requirements

• Diploma of Nursing (or equivalent).
• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• Knowledge and understanding of aged care standards and accreditation requirements.
• Strong clinical, communication and documentation skills.Current National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one.
• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
