Job summary

Aegis Aged Care in Shorehaven, Alkimos, WA, is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to deliver high-quality resident care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Manager.

You will perform assessments, care planning, documentation, and liaise with residents and families. Requires AHPRA registration, aged care/dementia experience, and Australian working rights. The role includes a paid orientation and ongoing training, with a competitive rate of pay.

Qualifications

• A current AHPRA registration as Enrolled Nurse.
• Experience in Aged Care and Dementia care is preferred.
• Full Australian working rights and ability to pass national police clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the assessment, evaluation, and implementation of residents’ clinical and care planning.
• Contribute to workload allocation to ensure quality care for all residents.
• Anticipate residents' changing health needs and manage requirements accordingly.
• Ensure care documentation is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.
• Support residents and families by responding to queries and feedback in liaison with the Facility Manager.

The role will be centred around providing a high-quality care and effective nursing for residents that aligns with individual resident choices and best practice. You will be supported by and taking direction from the Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Manager.

A typical day will be varied and have you completing amongst other duties:

• Assisting with the assessment, evaluation, and implementation of residents clinical and care planning.
