Brisbane Skin Cancer is a doctor-owned clinic in Brisbane seeking a motivated Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our full‑time team. You will support doctors during skin cancer consultations and procedures, provide wound care, and help maintain infection control throughout patient visits.

The role includes training in skin cancer nursing, LED therapy, and working with experienced doctors in a supportive, small-team environment.

Qualifications

• Active AHPRA registration as EN or RN.
• Experience in skin cancer, surgical, general practice, or procedural nursing preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and in small team.

Responsabilités

• Assist doctors during skin cancer procedures, including excisions and biopsies.
• Provide wound dressings and post-procedure wound care.
• Operate and assist LED light therapy.
• Prepare procedure rooms and maintain infection control standards.
• Review, manage, and order clinical stock and supplies.
• Book, schedule, and update appointments using Xestro practice software.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patient enquiries.
• Check, manage, and respond to clinic emails.

Brisbane Skin Cancer is a doctor-owned and operated medical clinic specialising in the detection and treatment of skin cancer. We are seeking a motivated and caring Enrolled Nurse (EN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our friendly and professional team full time.

About the Role

This is a varied and hands-on position supporting our doctors and patients throughout skin cancer consultations and procedures. You will play an important role in ensuring high-quality patient care and smooth clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting doctors during skin cancer procedures, including excisions and biopsies
• Providing wound dressings and post-procedure wound care management
• Operating and assisting with LED light therapy
• Preparing procedure rooms and maintaining infection control standards
• Reviewing, managing, and ordering clinical stock and supplies
• Booking, scheduling, and changing appointments using Xestro practice software
• Answering incoming phone calls and assisting patient enquiries
• Checking, managing, and responding to clinic emails

About You

• Current AHPRA registration as an EN or RN
• Previous experience in skin cancer, surgical, general practice, or procedural nursing (preferred but not essential)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Confident with practice management software (experience with Xestro highly regarded)
• Friendly, professional, and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
