Job summary

The Wesley Hospital, located in Brisbane, is seeking an Enrolled Nurse on a permanent part-time basis. The role requires joining a 24/7 rotating roster at a major not-for-profit private hospital known for cancer, cardiac, women’s and children’s care, and advanced robotic surgery programs.

You will deliver person-centred care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, demonstrate sound clinical practice, and communicate effectively with the Registered Nurse about patient responses.

Qualifications

• Diploma of nursing or equivalent and AHPRA registration.
• Full Australian Working Rights (sponsorship not available).
• Willingness to work a 24/7 rotating roster and adhere to Workplace Health and Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional person-centred care by collaborating with the multidisciplinary team and applying strong communication and patient service skills.
• Maintain safe clinical practice to ensure patient safety and promote optimal health outcomes.
• Coordinate with Registered Nurse regarding patient responses to treatment and nursing care, and manage workload through effective delegation.

Remuneration: $36.57 - $40.93/hr + 12% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

• Deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Apply sound clinical practice which ensures a safe environment and promotes optimal patient health
• Effectively exchange information with the Registered Nurse regarding patient responses to treatment and nursing care
• Demonstrate application of the principles of clinical and workplace risk management.
• Achieve optimum patient care through effective collaboration with other health professionals and coordination of care
• Achieves optimal patient outcomes through appropriate allocation of staff and delegation of work and effective communication skills
