Job summary

William Clarke College in Kellyville, NSW, seeks a suitably qualified English Teacher for Years 7–12. Reporting to the Head of English, you will deliver engaging lessons and uphold the College's Christian ethos while contributing to teaching and learning frameworks.

The position is permanent and full-time, starting Term 1, 2027, with potential for a part-time load for the right candidate. A valid Working with Children Check is required.

About the Opportunity

William Clarke College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced English Teacher to join our friendly and professional academic staff team. Reporting to the Head of English, you will be responsible for engaging with students to deliver quality teaching and learning experiences that speak to the core values of the College. In addition, you will actively engage with and deliver the College’s teaching and learning frameworks.

This is a permanent, full-time position commencing in Term 1, 2027 (opportunity to discuss a preferred part-time teaching load for the right candidate)

About You

• Ability to teach Stage 4, 5 and 6 English (experience at Stage 6 level will be highly regarded)
• Appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation
• Demonstrated excellence as a classroom teacher
• Collegiate and a good team player
• Actively support the College’s Christian ethos
• The successful candidate will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check in accordance with Child Protection legislation
• Regular practicing member of a Christian church
