Job summary

Australian Industry Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre in Sydney, NSW offers a 24‑month traineeship with no prior experience required. You will work with engineers and specialists to gain exposure to engineering documentation, reporting and quality processes while pursuing a Certificate III in Engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum completion of Year 12 High School.
• Interest in engineering and technology.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of engineering documentation and records.
• Interpreting technical drawings, specifications and engineering instructions.
• Supporting project planning, scheduling and reporting activities
• Collecting, recording and analysing technical data
• Assisting with quality assurance and quality control processes
• Using CAD and engineering software to support engineering activities
• Participating in product testing, inspections and technical evaluations
• Maintaining workplace safety standards and following company procedures
• Communicating with engineers, production personnel and customers
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team
