De Nada Surveys in Weipa, QLD is seeking experienced Engineering Surveyors to join our team on major infrastructure and mining projects. This role offers a stable, permanent position with a supportive on-site culture and exposure to cutting-edge surveying technology.

You’ll work across planning, design and construction with total stations, GPS, UAVs, and laser scanners, delivering precise data and reports while collaborating closely with engineers and site teams.

Qualifications

• Surveying qualification (Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree or equivalent).
• 2+ years’ industry experience.
• Australian working rights, driver’s licence, and White Card.
• Experience with Leica, 12D, Civil 3D.
• UAV licence (or willingness to obtain if required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end surveying across planning, design, and construction phases.
• Work with cutting-edge tech: total stations, GPS, UAVs, and laser scanners.
• Produce accurate data, reports, and mapping outputs.
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and site teams to keep projects moving.
• Maintain high standards through quality assurance and compliance checks.
• Champion safety and contribute to a strong team culture.
• Support and mentor junior team members.
