Job summary

Techforce Personnel is seeking an Engineering Lead to provide technical leadership on an AI-enabled program. You will guide a team of about 7 engineers to establish automated API testing and patching across a large microservices estate, starting with a pilot and scaling to hundreds of services.

You will drive migrations (Spring Boot 3 to 4), establish reusable AI workflows, and ensure standards across development, testing, security and CI/CD, while remaining hands-on technically.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on Java/Spring Boot engineering plus Engineering Lead experience.
• Leadership of engineering teams with practical AI-assisted engineering.
• Strong integration engineering with APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Run the initial pilot and technical discovery.
• Scale capability across ~250 microservices.
• Build reusable automated regression and integration testing capabilities.
• Onboard APIs to Renovate for automated dependency patching.
• Migrate remaining Spring Boot 3 to Spring Boot 4 for ~75 APIs.
• Establish AI-enabled engineering workflows and accelerators.
• Transition capability into Level 3 operational support.
• Define engineering standards across development, testing, security and CI/CD.
