Job summary

1300apprentice is offering a 1st Year Engineering Fabrication Apprenticeship based in Mount Kuring-Gai. You’ll learn from specialists to manufacture in stainless steel and brass, producing items from floor wastes to tailored fabrications for clients.

You’ll gain a nationally recognised Cert III in Engineering Fabrication and work in an ever-changing environment with a dedicated mentor guiding your growth into a skilled tradesperson.

Our Employer Partner work with bathroom retailers, architects, interior designers, project managers, builders and homeowners to create bespoke custom products to ensure their bathroom is finished perfectly, down to the very last detail. Based in Mount Kuring-Gai

This 1st Year Engineering Fabrication Apprenticeship will see you learn from passionate specialists how to manufacture in stainless steel and brass a range of products including: channel and square floor wastes, mirrors, consoles, basin and bath wastes, bathware accessories and tailored fabrications to meet specific client needs.

• How to work with and handle stainless steel, brass and other light Metals.


• Use of Workshop Machines: CNC cutters, punches, metal folding equipment and more.


• Fabrication of custom items from a range of light metals.


• Interpreting drawings, setting out, measuring and cutting metals to size

What we are looking for:

• You will have a genuine passion for working with light metals and brass


• Enthusiasm for and commitment to learning new skills and becoming a highly skilled Fabrication Engineer


• Someone who takes genuine pride in seeing a finished product completed to the highest of standards.


• Great work ethic, reliable, someone who enjoys being part of a team.


• Driver’s licence and own transport – Desirable but not essential.
