Austal Defence Australia (ADA) is seeking an Engineering Data Analyst to transform complex engineering datasets into standard models and BI dashboards. You’ll help manage engineering master data across CAD, PLM, and ERP systems and deliver analytics to support operational needs.

You will contribute to data quality and security, develop semantic models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise engineering data workflows in a Defence context.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science or Information Technology.
• Proven experience designing and implementing Enterprise Business Intelligence tools, solutions and semantic models.
• In-depth knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data integrations.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, ETL processes and Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships, influence others, and work effectively as part of a team.
• Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance.

About the Opportunity

As the

As the Engineering Data Analyst for Austal Defence Australia (ADA), you'll be responsible for transforming complex engineering, product, and operational datasets into standard models, interactive Business Intelligence dashboards, and data analytics for ADA. Reporting to the Engineering Data Lead, this role contributes to the development and management of engineering master data across CAD, PLM, and ERP systems to meet operational requirements.

You'll Need

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data requirements and propose effective solutions
• Eligibility for a Defence Security Clearance
