Job summary

Kinrise, based in South Yarra, VIC, seeks a Head of Engineering and Automation to drive a 3–5 year roadmap across engineering, automation and capital initiatives. You will lead major programs and translate business strategy into practical, costed plans, partnering with Operations, Safety, Quality and Finance to raise safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires senior engineering leadership with a strong ability to balance strategy with execution, manage large projects, and build consistent

Qualifications

Engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, automation, manufacturing or related field.
Desirable certifications in PRINCE2, PMP, Lean Six Sigma or equivalent.
Training in machinery safety, functional safety or hygienic design desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and deliver Kinrise's engineering, automation and manufacturing technology strategy.
Lead capital projects and automation initiatives with >$100k value end-to-end.
Collaborate with operations, safety, quality, finance and site leadership to deliver outcomes.
Establish standards for reliability, asset management and governance across sites.
Ensure safety, quality, traceability and productivity improvements through technology.
