Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects is seeking an experienced Engineer - Secondary to join our Queensland engineering team. This role focuses on delivering precise secondary protection and control system designs for HV utility and renewable projects, supporting field staff and clients.

You will contribute to a large in-house design & engineering team and work on industry-leading projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability in complex PAC designs while collaborating across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading complex secondary systems design projects.
• Experience in a similar role within Energy/Electrical utilities or renewable industries.
• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate precision designs for secondary protection and control (PAC) systems in high voltage utility and renewable sectors.
• Deliver complex internal and external secondary system design projects and check outputs.
• Work with in-house design & engineering team to ensure designs are practical, constructible and refined with real-world feedback.

The Opportunity

Consolidated Power Projects is seeking an experienced Engineer - Secondary to join our growing QLD engineering team.

Secondary Engineers deliver timely and accurate technical designs while supporting field staff, customers and colleagues. The successful candidate will be able to produce accurate precision designs required for secondary protection and control (PAC) systems in the high voltage utility and renewable sectors. You will deliver complex internal and external secondary system design projects, and demonstrate capability of checking secondary system design outputs.

You will join a highly regarded in-house Design & Engineering team of over 200 experienced professionals and play an integral role in the successful delivery of various industry leading projects.

To be successful in this role, you will posses:

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience leading complex secondary systems design projects
• Experience in a similar role within Energy/Electrical utilities or renewableindustries
• High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
