Job summary

WeBuild is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to lead on-site inspections, review ITPs and method statements, and ensure project compliance with design and specifications. You will coordinate with CW and E&M teams, manage NCRs, and train staff on quality processes.

You will monitor supplier quality, maintain documentation in the project controls system, and generate weekly quality reports to support project governance. Experience in civil, geotechnical or E&M contexts is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and reviewing ITPs, method statements and QA docs.
• On-site inspections and audits of subcontractors and worksites.
• Proficient with quality control processes, NCRs and resolution of defects.
• Knowledge of design/specifications and inspection records management.
• Ability to report findings and recommendations clearly.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with document control.

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plan (ITPs), Method Statements, and other construction documents to ensure compliance with the relevant design and specifications.
• Undertake quality inspections on-site and on subcontractor worksites.
• Communicate and resolve any design and quality issues proactively with relevant (CW, E&M) worksite team and responsible departments.
• Ensures compliance with method planning and its implementation, including the use of checklists, adherence to material manufacturers' instructions, and other relevant procedural documentation.
• Inspect and verify the release of internal HPs as per the project nominated designated authorities in the HP register. Participate in the review of external HPs as required.
• Application of ITPs including calibration control of measuring and testing equipment.
• Assist in lot identification in accordance with project requirements; including both direct and sub-contract works, procured materials and services.
• Verify product compliance by reviewing lot records and closing them out when compliant.
• Assist with communicating quality process through process training and reporting.
• Monitor suppliers' compliance with the Project quality requirements.
• Provide input to determine and assist in the analysis of NCR root causes. Review the status of NCRs, implement actions as required and forward completed NCRs to Quality Manager for close-out.
• Liaise with the project teams in undertaking audits of contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers, as required.
• Implement and maintain quality system documents and records, and ensure all other records are managed effectively for the project through the document control software GLAASS.
• Prepare internal weekly/ monthly quality reports as required.
• Assist the Quality team with the preparation of the project quality dashboard monthly.
