Job summary

LAB3 is seeking a Modern Cloud Engineer with NV1 clearance for a 6-month contract in Australia. The role focuses on delivering modern desktop, Intune, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 workplace solutions across design, build, testing, and deployment engagements.

You will lead technical delivery across Intune, Entra ID, endpoint compliance, Autopilot, and device management initiatives, supporting hybrid workplace transformation with secure identity and cloud integration capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver modern desktop, Intune, endpoint, and Microsoft 365 workplace solutions across design, build, testing, and deployment engagements.
• Lead technical delivery across Intune, Entra ID, endpoint compliance, application packaging, Autopilot, and modern device management initiatives.
• Support hybrid workplace transformation with secure identity, endpoint protection, mobility, and desktop cloud integration capabilities.
• Act as an escalation point for clients and internal teams, resolving complex endpoint and workplace engineering challenges.
• Work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric modern workplace experiences aligned to enterprise standards.
• Contribute to project governance, technical documentation, transition planning, and delivery quality across Professional Services engagements.
• Use automation, scripting, and cloud management capabilities to streamline operations and improve client outcomes.
• Build trusted stakeholder relationships and deliver high-impact outcomes from discovery through to implementation.

We're looking for a Modern Cloud Engineer with NV1 clearance for a 6-month contract at an attractive daily rate!

The role

• Deliver modern desktop, Intune, endpoint, and Microsoft 365 workplace solutions across design, build, testing, and deployment engagements.
• Lead technical delivery across Intune, Entra ID, endpoint compliance, application packaging, Autopilot, and modern device management initiatives.
• Support hybrid workplace transformation with secure identity, endpoint protection, mobility, and desktop cloud integration capabilities.

With exposure to the below tech stack

• Microsoft Entra ID and Entra Connect
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Azure cloud tenant management and operational support
• Windows Server, including hybrid integration scenarios
• PowerShell scripting and automation
• Microsoft Graph API and integration patterns

The important details

• You must be an Australian Citizen with NV1 clearance to work in Federal government environments
• The successful candidate must be open to working 2-3 days on site in Melbourne or Canberra based offices
