Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Senior Engineers to join our Construction division. With a strong pipeline of Civil, SMP and E&I projects across Western Australia, this role offers the chance to lead major works with flexible 2:1 FIFO or 5:2 Local arrangements.

Role Summary

The Senior Engineer will manage electrical and instrumentation scope activities, ensuring construction complies with plans, designs and specifications, and will liaise with internal and client E&I leadership to resolve technical challenges on site.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure project construction activities within the electrical scope comply with plans, designs and specifications.
  • Manage electrical and instrumentation engineering/technical queries on site.
  • Liaise with internal and client E&I leadership to resolve technical challenges.
  • Assist with MTOs and procurement tasks for E&I goods and services.
  • Prepare work packs, method statements and other construction-related documentation in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve engineering technical problems; provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of construction managers, superintendents, and contractors.
  • Implement quality control techniques and maintain company standards for Quality Assurance.
  • Conduct general duties as necessary to support operational requirements.
  • Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
  • Previous project experience on major construction projects within the mining and resources sector.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to write clear, concise technical reports.
  • Experience working within multi‑disciplinary project teams and building effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Previous experience on construction sites as an Electrical Engineer.
  • Experience on FMG, Rio Tinto, BHP and Roy Hill sites is highly regarded.
