Job summary

BlueCare, part of UnitingCare Queensland, is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients living in Gatton and the surrounding areas. You’ll travel between homes, deliver in‑home care and daily living assistance, and help maintain independence and quality of life in a respectful, person‑centred way.

This permanent part‑time role offers pay at $36.32 p/hr plus super, salary packaging, travel reimbursements and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work - Essential
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Travel to scheduled visits to assist clients in their homes with daily activities
• Provide in-home personal care including showering, hygiene, meals, cleaning, laundry
• Implement care per the client's Care Plan
• Support participation in community activities
• Assist with transport, shopping and appointments
