Job summary

Joseph Banks Secondary College in Western Australia is seeking English teachers to join a pool for permanent and fixed-term vacancies arising during 2027. Successful applicants will teach across Year 7–12, deliver engaging lessons aligned to the WA Curriculum, and employ diverse instructional strategies to support literacy and numeracy.

Applicants should hold an eligible teaching qualification and registration, and be eligible to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
• Apply for WA Working with Children Check before you start.
• Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number.
