Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our Woodcroft team. You will deliver learning experiences aligned with EYLF/NQS, mentor staff, and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment for every child to thrive.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a rotating roster between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm. NSW WWCC, First Aid, CPR and mandatory child protection certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EYLF and NQS requirements.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and educators.
• Current First Aid, CPR and Mandatory Child Protection certificates.
• Ability to promote child safety and wellbeing in learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging programs aligned with EYLF/NQS and the centre's curriculum.
• Lead reflective practice and mentor educators to improve teaching outcomes.
• Observe and document children's learning to support inclusion and school readiness.
• Maintain supervision and ensure child safety at all times.
• Build partnerships with families and the broader community.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement.
