Job summary

The ACT Government's CMTEDD Communications and Engagement team is seeking an experienced Assistant Director, Engagement to lead whole-of-government engagement initiatives and strengthen how the ACT community is involved in public decision-making. This full-time temporary role with a possibility of permanency focuses on coordination, capability building, governance, and project delivery across government.

You will work with diverse stakeholders and support the YourSay platform while driving

Qualifications

• Qualifications in engagement, communications, public policy, stakeholder engagement or related discipline.
• Accreditation or qualifications under Engage Institute (IAP2) highly desirable.
• Experience managing projects and delivering outcomes across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver engagement initiatives at a whole-of-government level.
• Contribute to the Engagement Framework and governance across government.
• Support YourSay Conversations platform and capability-building for practitioners.
• Lead and support strategic projects with broad organisational impact.
