Job summary
Dentons is seeking an energy, infrastructure and major projects Associate / Senior Associate to join our Construction and Major Projects team in Brisbane. You will work on high profile energy and infrastructure projects across sectors, advising on construction and related contracts, joint ventures and procurement matters.
A proactive, commercial lawyer with 3–7 years' PQE will thrive in our growing team. You will collaborate with Partners, leverage regional colleagues, and contribute to business
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience with major projects.
- Strong academic record and practical, commercial legal skills.
- Proactive approach and ability to contribute to a growing team.
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Willingness to participate in business development activities.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Partners and colleagues in Australia and the region on high profile energy and infrastructure projects.
- Advise on construction and O&M contracts, offtake arrangements, joint ventures, and related procurement agreements.
- Contribute to early development phases and structuring of projects.
- Develop client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
