Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking an Endoscopy Support Technician to assist in ambulatory surgery. You will prepare and sterilize endoscopic equipment, maintain aseptic technique, and support the team during procedures.

The role requires completion of approved health care programs and relevant certifications, plus 6 months healthcare experience. On-site work at Swedish Redmond with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Technology, Anesthesia Technologist, Certified Nurse Assistant or Medical Assistant program.
• Upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification, or Washington Medical Assistant Certification, or Washington Surgical Technologist Registration.
• Within 1 year: NCRE - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association or NFB Endoscope Reprocessors - CS&D.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all equipment for endoscopic procedures and assist in procedures.
• Clean equipment per protocols and track repairs.
• Support aseptic technique and infection control and disinfection/sterilization.
