Zusammenfassung

The BUSY School, part of The BUSY Group, is seeking a passionate Teacher Aide to support Year 11 and 12 students to re-engage with learning and build confidence.

This hands-on role involves classroom assistance, small-group support, resource preparation and helping create a safe, supportive learning environment. Part-Time 22.5 hours per week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, term-time 44 weeks per annum.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting young people in education, youth or community settings.
• Certificate III or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (desirable).
• Current Working with Children Check / Blue Card.
• Current National Police Check or ability to attain one.
• Eligibility to work in Australia or ability to attain one.

Aufgaben

• Assisting teachers with learning resources and classroom preparation.
• Working one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Encouraging student participation, independence and self-confidence.
• Collaborating with teachers and support staff to meet student needs.
• Monitoring and reporting student progress and engagement.
• Maintaining positive relationships across the school community.
• Supporting student wellbeing and safety at all times.
