Job summary

Bendigo Kangan Institute invites applications for a Sessional Teacher Vocational English under the AMEP. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, maintaining accurate records, and supporting learners to achieve language, employment, further study, and community participation goals.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a positive, inclusive, learner-centred environment while ensuring AMEP and organisational compliance.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree (or higher) in any discipline with a TESOL qualification.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is required.
• Be able to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the team.
• Excellent organisational and digital teaching skills.
• WWCC, police check and right to work documentation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, culturally responsive EAL lessons for diverse learners.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom where every student is supported.
• Monitor and support student progress to achieve language and settlement goals.
• Collaborate with educators to share best practices.
