Job summary

Prestige Health Services Australia Pty Ltd (PHSA) is seeking an Employment Placement Specialist to join the Employment Services team in Sydney. The role focuses on delivering job seeking preparation and placement services for clients with injuries or health conditions to support work trials and direct job placements.

You will source opportunities via reverse market and cold canvassing, maintain electronic records, and work autonomously within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in workplace rehabilitation services, disability, employment case management, job placement or recruitment.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to reverse market and cold canvass to potential employers to source work trials and new employment opportunities
• Independence and autonomy with the ability to work in a team environment
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with electronic client record keeping
• Class C Drivers licence and access to own vehicle

Responsibilities

• Deliver job seeking preparation and job placement services to referred participants with an injury or health condition to support host employment, work trials, volunteer work or direct job placement.
• Identify and engage potential employers to source opportunities and arrange placements.
• Collaborate with Employment Services team to coordinate client plans and progress.
• Maintain accurate electronic client records and documentation.

The Role

PHSA are seeking a mature, driven, and motivated individual to join the Employment Services team as an Employment Placement Specialist based in Sydney.

This role requires you to deliver job seeking preparation and job placement services to referred participants with an injury (psychological or physical) and those who may have a health or medical condition to support host employment, work trials, volunteer work or direct job placement.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years experience in workplace rehabilitation services, disability, employment case management, job placement or recruitment (or equivalent).

Effective communication skills (verbal and written)

Ability to reverse market and cold canvass to potential employers to source work trials and new employment opportunities

Independence and autonomy with the ability to work in a team environment
