Job summary

APM Employment Services is seeking an experienced Training Facilitator – Employability Skills Training (EST) to deliver, facilitate and administer assessments, training and support services for participants. You will help individuals become more competitive in their local labour market by providing tailored employability sessions and one-on-one coaching.

The role requires experience in training or career counselling, a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or progress towards it), and a

Qualifications

• Experience as a career counsellor or career development trainer.
• Ability to use specialised career assessment tools to build pathway plans.
• Strong ability to build relationships, network and promote services.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging sessions focused on employability, job readiness and foundational skills.
• Tailor content to diverse cohorts (youth, mature-age, culturally diverse).
• Provide one-on-one coaching to help participants set career goals and overcome barriers.
• Design and adapt training materials to meet diverse learner needs.
• Incorporate real-world scenarios and employer feedback for relevance.
• Monitor learner progress through assessments and reporting.
• Raise awareness and uptake of the EST program via outreach and partnerships.
• Promote the training program through community networks.
• Collaborate with employment consultants, community organisations and employers.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory standards.
