Placements24 is seeking a Candidate Architect to join its growing practice in Queenstown. Under supervision by registered architects, you will assist with design development, documentation, and project coordination while gaining exposure to diverse project typologies.

The role is ideal for an emerging architect eager to learn, contribute to a collaborative team, and develop professional skills in a mentorship-focused environment that supports SACAP registration and growth.

Qualifications

• Requires a Degree in Architecture and SACAP Candidate Architect registration.
• 0–3 years of professional experience post-qualification.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist registered architects in preparing architectural designs and drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Contribute to project documentation including plans, sections, elevations and details.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and report findings.
• Research building materials, codes, and regulatory requirements relevant to projects.
• Support the team in preparing presentations and client communications.
