Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Corporate Finance team. You will support accounting and financial administration across Australia and New Zealand, reporting to the Finance Manager.

Based in Maroochydore, full-time with 38 hours per week, you will manage AR, assist with month-end and year-end processes, prepare reconciliations and statutory reporting, and work with stakeholders on finance support and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Tiered qualifications in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive approach and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Managing accounts receivable and debtor reporting.
• Supporting month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Preparing reconciliations, financial schedules and statutory reporting.
• Assisting with tax, insurance and compliance requirements.
• Partnering with internal stakeholders to provide finance support and resolve queries.
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives and special projects.
