Job summary

Gold Fields’ Agnew Gold Mine seeks a capable professional to lead Emergency Services, Medical and Security functions on a permanent FIFO from Perth. You will coordinate site emergency response, security practices, and regulatory compliance while developing the emergency response team and exercising readiness.

You will partner with operational leaders to strengthen preparedness and site capabilities, ensuring effective incident management and a safe, compliant mining operation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Mine Emergency Response & Rescue is required.
• Certificate IV Health Care is preferred.
• Experience leading Emergency Services and Security teams in underground mining.
• Strong emergency preparedness and incident management capabilities.
• Valid manual driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Emergency Response Team to ensure high standards onsite.
• Plan and coordinate emergency exercises and mock emergencies.
• Maintain emergency, security and compliance systems and documentation.
• Manage security policies, site access, and investigations.
• Represent Agnew and Gold Fields at mine rescue and regulatory forums.
• Manage departmental resources including training, equipment and vehicles.
• Provide reports and updates to senior management.
• Model core values and foster a supportive team culture.
