Job summary

WiSE Medical is seeking an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) for our new NSW clinics, delivering patient-centred care in a fast-paced emergency setting under RN supervision. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in vitals, and teamwork to support doctors and nurses.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in relevant support and/or nursing studies, with WWCC and NSW vaccination compliance. Casual, entry-level opportunity with exposure to urgent care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Health Services Assistance, HLT33115, or equivalent.
• Current enrolment in a Bachelor of Nursing (RN) with clinical placement completed.
• Experience in acute care or emergency settings is highly desirable.
• Valid WWCC and NSW vaccination compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering safe, patient-centred care under RN/EN supervision.
• Record vitals and basic clinical data accurately and promptly.
• Support wound care, ECG, BSL, urinalysis and weight measurements.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, admissions and discharges.
• Maintain clean, stocked clinical areas and coordinate with team.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the RN/EN.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.
