Job summary

STAT Recruitment is seeking a physician to cover a busy Emergency Department at Wellington Health Service, providing 24-hour support with day shifts from 08:00 to 22:00 and on-call overnight for triage 1–3 cases. Offsite accommodation is a two-bedroom self-contained unit on site, and a vehicle is provided for travel to and from the workplace.

• Cover a busy Emergency Department at Wellington Hospital.
• Sign off pathology results on the system that are outstanding.
• Collaborate with other team members at Wellington hospital.
• Liaise with ED on arrival for doctor reports.
• Roster and travel arrangements are managed by the agency under pricing restrictions.
