The facility is a 310-bed referral centre with an annual ED volume of about 55,000 patients (25% paediatric), located in a vibrant community.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent and eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• FACEM fellowship and registration as an Emergency Medicine Specialist with AHPRA.
• ACEM trainees awaiting fellowship results are encouraged to apply; SIMGs welcomed.

Responsibilities

Compensation Package

The total remuneration for this position can reach up to $610k per year (L27), which includes:

• A base salary per annum (L18 – L27)
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
• 17.5% leave loading
• Professional Development Allowance ($21,500 annually)
• Motor Vehicle Allowance
• Overtime and on-call allowances
• Emergency Department Specialty Allowance
• Attraction and Retention Incentive Allowance (including Private Practice opportunities)

Requirements
