Job summary

Corangamite Shire Council is seeking an Emergency Management Officer to coordinate planning, implementation and review of emergency management and fire prevention duties in partnership with agencies and community organisations. You will support innovative community-led planning for emergencies, working with internal Council teams to ensure effective emergency management functions are undertaken.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Emergency Management or Community Development is desirable.
• Ability to build partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce reports and proposals.
• Current driver licence and relevant checks or ability to obtain before start.
