Job summary

Greenstaff Medical invites experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses to join our team for contracts across Rural and Remote Queensland. You will deliver acute and emergency care to patients, applying advanced clinical assessment and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility for nights, weekends and public holidays is encouraged to support rural healthcare needs. Eligible candidates hold NMBA RN registration and ALS/CPR certifications, with ED or acute care experience.

Greenstaff Medical is seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses to join our team for contracts in Rural and Remote Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity for nursing professionals looking to make a meaningful impact in rural and remote healthcare settings. As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse, you will provide acute and emergency care to patients presenting with a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. Your expertise and compassion will be vital in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where clinical decision-making and teamwork are essential. This contract role offers flexibility and the chance to work across different healthcare facilities in the region.

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
• Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department or acute care setting
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in high-pressure environments
• Advanced knowledge of emergency nursing protocols, triage systems and acute care management
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, CPR, and other mandatory competencies
• Flexibility and adaptability to rural and remote healthcare environments
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practiceWillingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays as required
• Preferred: Experience working in rural, remote or regional healthcare settings
