Job summary

SA Health in Wallaroo, SA invites a dedicated medical practitioner to join the Emergency Department with MBBS or equivalent and specialist qualifications such as FACEM/FACRRM/FRACGP. The role is a 0.5 to 1.0 FTE on-site commitment.

Lead day-to-day ED operations, respond to MET/Code Blue calls, supervise and train junior staff, and participate in teaching, quality assurance, continuous improvement, health promotion and community education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent held.
• Specialist qualifications such as FACEM, FACRRM or FRACGP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day ED operations safely and efficiently.
• Respond to MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls as required.
• Supervise, train and guide junior medical staff and allied health.

• We're seeking a dedicated and experienced medical practitioner who holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, with appropriate specialist qualifications such as FACEM, FACRRM, or FRACGP.
• Ideally looking for a 0.5 to 1.0 full time equivalent commitment, however all applications will be considered.
