Job summary

Parsons seeks a Reverse Engineer in Melbourne, FL to support U.S. Government contracts. You will conduct vulnerability research and reverse engineering on embedded systems, spanning target analysis to exploit development and integration into operational capabilities.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, 2+ years of experience, and skills in C/C++/Python, with familiarity of Ghidra/IDA. An active Top Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Programming in C, C++, Python from projects or work.
• Familiarity with memory management, processes, threads, OS fundamentals.
• Experience with decompilers/disassemblers (Ghidra/IDA/BinNinja).
• Experience with architectures like x86/x86-64, ARM/AArch64, or MIPS.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability research / reverse engineering on embedded systems under guidance.
• Analyze software, firmware, binaries, protocols and system behavior to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop, test, debug, and document cyber tools and exploits for research.
• Use debuggers, decompilers, disassemblers, emulators to understand target behavior.
• Collaborate with senior researchers to develop new techniques and solve problems.
• Build expertise in reverse engineering, exploit development, OS internals, embedded systems.
