We are seeking an Electronics Specialist to join the Creator Space at the University of Melbourne, supporting students, academics, and makers in a dynamic, hands‑on environment.
In this role, you’ll be the subject matter expert in the field of Electronics, you will provide input into correct tools, equipment and training required to deliver a safe and effective electronic service. You will also engage users and guide skill development in areas related to electronics, basic programming and general hands‑on fabrication.
The role is critical in supporting the evolving needs of our customer's user base contributing to positive changes to the services provided by Creator Space through ongoing iteration and development of the overall service and in identifying and resourcing strategically aligned initiatives.
At Creator Space, you’ll have the chance to inspire, mentor, and guide the next generation of makers and innovators, with cutting‑edge tools and technologies in a creative and collaborative environment.
You’ll also play an important role in shaping the growth of the service itself, helping us continuously improve, expand, and innovate for the future.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold or be eligible for a minimum of a Baseline Australian Defence security clearance.
