WHY HARGRAVE

Named after Australian aviation pioneer Lawrence Hargrave, we are an Australian engineering company designing and manufacturing high-performance electronics, motors and control systems for demanding applications.

Our work is mission-critical, technically challenging and used in environments where reliability matters. Our technology supports drones and military applications, where engineering decisions directly influence real-world performance.

You’ll work on engineering with real-world purpose and see your contributions become physical products used in demanding environments.

We're small enough for your voice and work to have a direct impact, while scaling to deliver high-impact projects around the world.

Ownership is central to how we operate. Engineers are trusted to make decisions, challenge existing approaches and take responsibility for their work through to completion.

Less bureaucracy. More ownership, accountability and quality.

As Hargrave grows, you have opportunities to shape our products, processes and engineering culture.

The ideal candidate would have experience in:
  • 2-7 years of relevant experience in electronics or hardware engineering.

  • Electronic circuit design, PCB layout and schematic development.

  • Analogue and digital electronics, including hardware troubleshooting.

  • Electronic component evaluation, selection and validation.

  • Proficiency in using oscilloscopes and multimeters for electronic testing and troubleshooting.

  • Designing and developing manufacturing test fixtures, jigs and supporting hardware.

  • Providing technical engineering support for electronics manufacturing and production processes.

Experience with power electronics, motor controllers, ESCs or automated manufacturing testing would be highly regarded.
