Job summary

Client 1 in Adelaide, SA is seeking a mid-level to senior Electronic Warfare Engineer to support Australian Defence research. You will develop and integrate EW, radar and RF simulations, translating complex concepts into software solutions.

You’ll work with engineers and researchers in a hybrid setup, 3–4 days onsite, with strong focus on modelling, analysis and mentoring at senior level for ongoing career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in Electronic Warfare, radar or RF engineering.
• Modelling, simulation or mathematical modelling experience.
• Software development skills in C++, Python, C# or MATLAB.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related discipline.
• Australian citizenship and an active NV1 clearance, or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.
• Experience with C++, signal processing, tracking algorithms, RF propagation or Defence R&D is highly regarded.

Job description

We're seeking a mid-level or senior Electronic Warfare Engineer with experience in EW, radar or RF systems, modelling and simulation, and software development to support innovative Australian Defence research.

The Role

You'll develop and integrate computer models and simulations to assess radar and electronic warfare systems in different scenarios. Working alongside experienced engineers and Defence researchers, you'll translate complex engineering concepts into software solutions and analyse system performance.

• Build computational models and algorithms using C++, Python, C# or MATLAB.
• Analyse radar detection, tracking, electronic attack and RF performance.

About You

You'll ideally have:
