Job summary

C2O Group is seeking qualified Electricians to join a Kurri Kurri power station project with an immediate start. You will contribute to essential electrical installation, testing, and commissioning, including upgrades to emergency warning and lighting systems across the facility.

Ideal candidates have current Australian Electrical Licence, High Risk Work for EWP, Confined Space training, and experience in power stations or similar projects. Work is on-site with a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with current licence and relevant HV/low voltage exposure.
• Experience in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning on site.
• Safety-focused with ability to work with multiple trades on complex sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Install new cables and circuits through pits and trays.
• Complete terminations and associated testing.
• Assist with upgrades to emergency warning and occupancy systems.
• Undertake lighting installation and upgrades across buildings and roads.

About the Opportunity
C2O Group is seeking qualified Electricians to join a power station project in Kurri Kurri with an immediate start available.

The project involves essential electrical installation and upgrade works to enhance site safety systems, including improvements to emergency warning systems and lighting infrastructure across the power station.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Electricians to contribute to important project works as part of a skilled team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Install new cables and circuits through existing cable pits and trays.
• Complete electrical terminations and associated testing.
• Assist with upgrades to emergency warning and occupancy systems.
• Undertake lighting installation and upgrades across buildings, roads and accessways.
• Work at heights using elevated work platforms where required.
• Follow site safety procedures and electrical standards.
• Collaborate with other trades and project personnel to deliver works safely and efficiently.

Skills & Experience

• Current Australian Electrical Licence.
• Relevant High Risk Work Licence for EWP operation.
• Current Confined Space training.
• Previous experience in power stations, power generation or similar projects highly regarded.
• Experience with cable installation, terminations, testing or lighting upgrades advantageous.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
• Experience as a Blue Collar Leading Hand and/or relevant Hazardous Areas certification will be highly regarded for applicable positions.
