Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking Trade Assistants, Unlicensed Electricians and NSW Licensed Electricians for ongoing commercial and industrial work across Sydney CBD, North, Western and Southern Sydney. This role offers a 12+ month pipeline with 8–10 hour days and Saturday opportunities.

On-site work across universities, schools, shopping centres, hospitals, fit outs, warehouses and large facilities, with strong safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• NSW Electrical Licence required for qualified electricians.
• Unlicensed electricians with 4+ years experience encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 1-2 years commercial electrical experience.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in trades & services / construction environments.
• Australian work rights required.

Responsibilities

• Work across a strong pipeline of commercial and industrial projects in Sydney.
• Deliver safety and quality standards on site.
• Maintain strong communication and customer service on site.
• Support practical electrical solutions with the wider team.
• Light & power rough in and fit off.
• Work with CAT6a / data cabling where required.
• General commercial/industrial electrical tasks as directed on site.

• Delivering work to the highest safety and quality standards
• Maintaining strong communication and customer service on site
• Supporting practical, efficient electrical solutions with the wider team
• Light & power rough in and fit off
• Working with CAT6a / data cabling (where required)
• General commercial/industrial electrical tasks as directed on site

What we're looking for:

• Qualified Electricians with a current NSW Electrical Licence
• Unlicensed electricians with 4+ years experience are also encouraged to apply
• Experienced Electricians (strong commercial experience essential)
• Minimum 1-2 years commercial electrical experience required
• Minimum 4 years' experience in Trades & Services / construction environments
• Able to work autonomously and within a team
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and professionalism
• A genuine commitment to safety, quality and compliance
• Basic hand tools required
• Available for 8–10 hour days and Saturday work
• Australian work rights required for this position
