Job description
THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking safety and quality conscious Construction Electricians to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO and DIDO opportunities available. Flights, accommodation and meal allowances will be provided.

In this role, you will:
  • Install cable support systems including cable tray, conduit, catenary, throughout underground environment.
  • Install switchgear, junction boxes, MCCs, transformers, VSDs, lighting, and communications equipment.
  • Installation and terminations of High voltage, power, communication, instrument and control cables
  • Ensure correct earthing, bonding of electrical systems across all installations.
  • Carry out quality checks and basic testing (continuity, insulation resistance) during installation.
ABOUT YOU
  • Experience as a fully qualified electrician
  • Able to identify and resolve complex problems in a timely manner
  • Excellent attitude to safety
  • Underground and or mining experience will be highly regarded

The successful candidate will have:

  • Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech
  • Current Electrical License
  • High-risk work License (with WP class)
  • Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months)
  • Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
  • Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
  • White / Blue Construction Card
