Job summary

D.Frame Electrical is seeking a qualified electrician to carry out electrical installation, maintenance, fault-finding, testing and commissioning across commercial, industrial and construction environments in NSW. You will read plans, meet technical specs and deliver work to high standards.

The role requires a current NSW Electrical Licence, a manual driver’s licence, strong safety awareness, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Licence appropriate to the role.
• Demonstrated experience in electrical installation, maintenance and fault-finding.
• Sound knowledge of electrical safety requirements and applicable Australian Standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Current manual driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, fault-finding, testing, repairs and commissioning across commercial, industrial and construction environments
• Undertake electrical service works, project installations and applicable ASP works in accordance with job requirements and technical specifications
• Interpret electrical drawings, plans, specifications and relevant technical documentation
• Ensure all work is completed to the required standard, within allocated timeframes and in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, legislation and DNSP requirements where applicable
• Regular audits and weekly checklists are carried out to maintain stock control
• Ensure high levels of customer service with all customer and community engagements
• Follow all company WHS policies, SWMS, JSEAs, risk assessments, pre-start requirements and site-specific safety procedures
• Identify and report hazards, incidents, near misses and unsafe working conditions
• Ensure appropriate testing, inspections and commissioning are completed and documented
• Provide administrative assistance in actioning, filing and organising required project documentation for both construction and ASP departments
