Job summary

Tweed Electrical and Data – Tweed Heads NSW

We are looking for a highly capable and autonomous A-Grade Electrician to take the lead on the tools.

You will not be stuck doing endless residential rough-ins. This role is heavily focused on commercial and industrial service work, equipment maintenance (including specialised machinery like commercial fryers), fault finding, and compliance. You will be the face of the business on-site, trusted to run jobs efficiently and independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting scheduled maintenance, servicing, and repairs on commercial and industrial equipment.
• Advanced electrical fault-finding and diagnostics on complex control panels and 3-phase machinery.
• General commercial electrical installations, upgrades, and fit-outs.
• Testing, commissioning, and ensuring all work complies with AS/NZS 3000.
• Liaising professionally with clients, facility managers, and business owners on-site.
• Managing your own time and maintaining accurate job notes.

What We Are Looking For

Licenses: Current NSW Electrical License, Communications Cablers Licence.

Experience: Proven background in commercial/industrial electrical work. Specific experience with commercial kitchen equipment or PLCs is a massive bonus but not strictly required if you are a strong fault-finder willing to learn.

Independence: Ability to work autonomously without someone looking over your shoulder. You take pride in your work and can problem-solve on the fly.

Requirements: Current manual driver’s license, White Card, WWC and a clean driving record.

Attitude: Excellent communication skills, punctual, and presentable.
