Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking an experienced electrical professional to work across residential and commercial projects in New South Wales. You will install and maintain CCTV, alarms, intercoms and access control while upholding high safety and quality standards.

The role requires a valid Australian electrical licence (or eligible overseas qualification), 3+ years of hands-on experience, and strong communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian electrical licence or overseas qualification eligible for licensing in Australia.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical trade experience.
• Strong practical knowledge across residential and commercial electrical work.
• Experience or interest in CCTV, alarms, intercoms and access control.
• Own electrical hand tools and a valid Australian driver's licence.
• White Card.
• Working at heights and EWP tickets are advantageous.
• Professional communication and customer-facing skills.
• Reliable and self-motivated approach to completing jobs.
• Ability to demonstrate genuine trade experience and qualifications during recruitment.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical installation, maintenance and repair across residential and commercial projects.
• Install, configure and maintain CCTV security systems.
• Install and service alarm systems.
• Install and maintain intercom and access control systems.
• Attend local customer sites and complete assigned work professionally.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
• Follow electrical safety standards and workplace procedures.
